Life is all about the things that make you smile. I have always been drawn to whimsical pictorial maps and vintage illustrations. Inkjet Alley sells a variety of vintage reproduction prints. I started with Pictorial Maps of the US and over the years have expanded to offer 5 different series of State Maps from rare hard to find antique books. Some of the Vintage Maps have Illustrations that can be considered Politically Incorrect, please don't take offense. Instead enjoy a whimsical look back in time to Satire from a Bygone era. Over time I expanded to offer maps from around the world, as well as vintage illustrations from various home décor themes, such as, botanicals, butterfly's, insects, and animals. I'm always adding to my inventory as I acquire more vintage illustrations.
I love the vintage look and feel of the old illustrations and want to portray that same essence in the reproduction prints I create. I'm not a fan of dingy yellowed poorly scanned images so you will only see reproductions in my shop that have been brought back to represent how they appeared when first printed. I strive to stay true to a vintage parchment paper background, similar to that which was printed in the original publication. I use only the highest quality archival inks and papers.
